Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to purchase of products on www.kitaa.com belonging to Greenland Ruby A/S.
When placing an order, the customer also confirms that these terms and conditions have been read and approved.

Prices and costs of delivery
All prices are listed in DKK, unless otherwise stated.
Products are delivered carriage-free in Greenland.
The costs of delivery outside Greenland are for the customer’s account and vary depending on the place of delivery (prices to the individual countries will appear on purchase)
VAT is not applicable in Greenland. Expenses for import duty and VAT/tax which may be applicable at the place of delivery are for the customer’s account.
Payment and card information
Kitaa.com accepts payment with the following cards: Dankort, Visa, Visa/Dankort, Visa Electron, EuroCard, and Mastercard.
The invoiced amount will be deducted from the customer’s account upon dispatch of the products from kitaa.com
Kitaa.com encrypts all card information of the customer with the SSL-protocol (Secure Sockets Layer) to secure that the information of the customer is protected against unauthorized interests during the transaction with NETS who handles payments for purchases made on www.kitaa.com kitaa.com’s use of the SSL-protocol meets all security requirements made by NETS.
Delivery
Products purchased from kitaa.com will usually be dispatched within 1-2 days and delivered to the stipulated delivery address. Time of delivery varies depending on the country of delivery, but we will do our best efforts to have a short delivery time.
When the order is shipped you will receive a confirmation by email.
The articles are sent with TELE-POST in Greenland and TELE-POST to other destinations.
Kitaa.com does not guarantee delivery conditions nor delivery time locally outside Greenland. We are also not liable for delays or failure to meet obligations, if the delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
The customer bears the risk for the products from the point of time when delivery has been made.
Right of withdrawal (only applicable to consumers)
The customer has a 14 days’ right of withdrawal when purchasing products from kitaa.com
The withdrawal period is calculated from the day, on which the customer has received the products.
In order to use the right of withdrawal, the customer must give notice to us within 14 days from receipt of the products for which the customer wishes to use the right of withdrawal. Such notice shall be sent to nuuk@greenlandruby.gl. The notice shall clearly state that the customer wishes to use its right of withdrawal. The customer may use the withdrawal form, but it is no requirement.
The customer may also use the right of withdrawal by not receiving the products or not collecting it with TELE-POST.gl.
Return
Prior to the time when the right of withdrawal expires, the costumer shall return the relevant products to us. It is sufficient, if the customer has handed over the products to the carrier prior to the expiry.
If the customer wishes to document that the right of withdrawal has been used timely, we recommend that the customer keeps the receipt for handing over the products to the carrier.
The customer shall bear all costs related to return of the product.

We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery (COD).
The customer may also use its right of withdrawal by returning the products personally at the above address.
The condition of the products upon return
If the products have been used beyond what is necessary to ascertain the size and quality of thereof, we reserve the right in our own discretion to reduce the repayment, in whole or in part.
Repayment
If the customer uses its right of withdrawal, the customer will receive an amount, corresponding to the amount paid to us. In case of a reduction of the value, which the customer is liable for, such reduction will be deducted.
If the customer uses its right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from the customer, excluding costs of deliveries outside Greenland, without undue delay, and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which we have received notice of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. We will make the reimbursement to the same means of payment, which you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed to something else.
We may withhold reimbursement, until we have received the goods, unless you provide us with documentation of having returned the products.
Warranty
Kitaa.com provides 2 years of warranty which cover manufacturing defects, e.g. loose stones, defect locks of necklaces and bracelets as well as discoloration in the finish.
This means that the customer may either get the products repaired, exchanged, the payment back or a price reduction, depending on each case. It is a requirement that the claim is legitimate and that the defect is not due to misuse of the products or other behavior causing damage.
The customer shall raise the claim within a reasonable time after the customer has discovered the defect of the product. Please contact us by e-mail nuuk@greenlandruby.gl with description and picture of the defect, including invoice no.
Provided the claim is legitimate, we will refund the customer’s reasonable freight costs. The products must always be sent in secure package, and remember to get a receipt for the shipment, in order that we can repay your freight costs.

Complaints
If the customers wishes to complain about the purchase, the customer shall contact our person responsible for claims by email to nuuk@greenlandruby.gl marked “complaint” in the heading or call +299 32 79 13.
If we do not succeed in finding a solution, the customer may submit a complaint to the Greenlandic Consumer and Competition Authority, aua@nanoq.gl, if you are of the opinion, that we have not acted correctly:

Law and venue
